A food and wine pairing experience hosted by winemaker Andre Van Rensburg. Andre and Vergelegen Restaurant's food gurus conjure up a culinary journey of courses each paired with a select Vergelegen wine. Menu : Scallop tartare with lime and ginger sorbet and a citrus, coriander and chilli dressing. Patagonian calamari stuffed with braised oxtail served with beurre blanc sauce. Fillet of beef on a potato, mushroom and blue cheese galete with cassis bordelaise and blanched summer vegetables. Cheese board and coffee and biscotti.
