The fine wines produced at Vergelegen may be sampled at the Wine Tasting Centre.

The Wine Tasting Centre was built in 1994 and can accommodate up to 72 guests indoors, with additional seating on the terrace.

Bookings

We suggest that groups of 10 guests or more make a reservation so that we can organise a dedicated tasting advisor for the group.

Bookings for winery tours are essential and tour group bookings can only be offered by prior arrangement.

Cellar tour times
  • Summer (November to April) 10h30, 11h30 and 15h00 daily
  • Winter (May to October) 11h30 and 15h00 daily

Tasting/tour fees

  • Tasting @ R30 for any 6 wines available, excluding the Vergelegen Red and White
  • Tasting @ R10 each for the Vergelegen Red and White
  • Cellar Tour @ R20 per person including a tasting of 4 premium range wines


    • Regrettably, no children under 12 years of age are permitted on the cellar tour due to safety regulations.
